Operation Remembrance

This year, students and staff from Heritage Academy joined OPERATION REMEMBRANCE by creating a video honouring our WWI veterans. 

Each day, from 01 November - 11 November  2024,  OPERATION REMEMBRANCE will release a short educational video created by students and teachers from participating schools across Canada.

In Day 5, students from HERITAGE ACADEMY (ON) will honour our WWI veterans: 

1. William George Barker, VC, DSO & Bar, MC & two Bars. - Canada’s most highly decorated military serviceman. Fighter ace. 

2. William (Billy) Bishop, VC, CB, DSO & ar, MC, DFC, ED - Canada’s top flying ace of WWI.

We are excited to share the video created by our talented students! A big thank you to all the students who dedicated their time and creativity to this project, and to Ms. Baron and Ms. Koyfman for their support in making this opportunity possible.
